All parts are excepted

Many of us who have been through trauma feel that there are parts of us that are unacceptable. They are parts of ourselves that we hide in our shadows and do not let most people see. We exile them from the world and deem them rejected! Jesus loves those parts too. He died so that we don't have to live in shame. There is no sin too wrong, no darkness too dark, no shame too deep for him to reach with his love. Romans 5:3-5…”but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.”  Let him love you in those places you hide, the places you hide even from yourself. Because, if you can learn to love those parts of you, that is when you are made truly whole.
